Preston Whiteway

Preston Whiteway, Executive Director, joined the O'Neill in June 2004 as General Manager directly from Duke University, at the age of 22.

At Duke, Preston received a B.A. in Economics, and served as Chair of Broadway at Duke. In that position, he was responsible for leading and managing the major arts presenting organization on campus, bringing national touring Broadway shows to campus. Additionally, he mentored with New York producer Manny Azenberg and Zannie Voss while at Duke.

Preston also worked with Stephen Richard and Molly Smith at Arena Stage in Washington, DC in summer 2003, and in 2004 produced Pippin for Duke's Hoof 'n' Horn musical theater group.

A native of Virginia, Preston now lives in New London, CT.
