| SUMMER INTERNSHIPS |
EXPERIENCE THE MAGIC. Scores of plays by writers who have become icons of the American Theater started their journey at the O'Neill - America's premiere campus for new theater works. Dive in to the development of new plays, musicals, innovative puppet and cabaret theater. SHAPE THE FUTURE. Immerse yourself in the making of great work. Bring your enthusiasm, your curiosity, and your art: challenge your abilities, meet the right people, learn about the business, and advance your career in the arts. Make your O'Neill experience the one that can CHANGE YOUR LIFE.
- Dates vary through June/July/August (generally six weeks in length)
- Fully integrated as part of the staff/crew in each department
- Opportunities to assist in other departments as interested
- Most will work 10-16 hour days, six days per week
- Q&A sessions with conference artists and guest speakers
- Performance/design opportunities in annual intern project, possibly in other student work or special events
- A fee of $2,700 is charged for housing/meal costs
- Interns need not bring a vehicle, but are allowed to do so if they wish
- If an intern's school offers credit for independent study or financial aid for internships.
O'Neill staff will complete the school's required paperwork for such credit or assistance

SHAPE YOUR FUTURE. Internships at the O'Neill are available year-round in specific areas. Amplify your knowledge and experience. Understand the inner workings of a theater, how it relates to other theaters, and how it relates to you.
- Dates vary September - May
- Fully Integrated as part of the the O'Neill staff
- Opportunities to assist in other departments as interested
- Most will work 10-16 hour days, six days per week
- Housing, meals and a small stipend are provided
- Vehicles are recommended, but not required
- Some positions can lead to further employment

| SUMMER JOB OPPORTUNITIES |
JUNIOR STAFF POSITIONS
- Greater responsibility than interns; former O'Neill interns preferred
- Dates vary through June/July/August
- Most will work 10-16 hour days, six days per week
- Fully integrated as part of the staff/crew in each department
- Opportunities to assist in other departments as possible
- These are unpaid positions, but meals and housing are provided while the kitchen is in service
- Housing generally is double occupancy in local college dormitories
- Shuttle service provided frequently to and from the O'Neill campus
- Junior Staff are encouraged, but not required to bring a vehicle
POSITIONS AVAILABLE:
- Script Office Coordinator
- Assistant to the Technical Director
- Bartenders (2-3; must be 21+)
- Information Technology
- Facilities & Grounds

STAFF POSITIONS
- Demonstrated relevant professional or educational experience required
- Dates vary through May/June/July/August
- Most will work 12-18 hour days, six days per week
- May supervise Junior Staff and Interns
- These positions come with varied stipends, plus housing and meals while the kitchen is in service
- Housing may be on or off campus.
- Shuttle service provided frequently to and from the O'Neill campus
- Staff are encouraged, but not required to bring a vehicle
POSITIONS AVAILABLE:
- Technical Director
- Company Manager (25+ Preferred)
- Housing Coordinator (25+ Preferred)
- Van Drivers (2-3; must be 25+ or have CDL)
- Kitchen Assistants (2-3)
- Box Office / House Manager
- Intern Coordinator
