The Eugene ONeill Theater Center
Announces The Summers Picks
The authors of ten plays and three music theater works have been invited to attend the annual Playwrights Conference and Music Theater Conference at the Eugene ONeill Theater Center.
The summer session, July 5 through 31 will mark the 40th anniversary of the Playwrights Conference and the first time that the playwrights and music theater seasons have been combined. According to ONeill Center Artistic Director, J Ranelli, the decision to bring the two together was made in the interests of providing the entire range of artistic resources to both projects. In announcing the Playwrights Conference selections, Mr. Ranelli also outlined a sequence of celebratory events on Sunday mornings throughout the month that will bring past and present writers, actors, directors and designers to Waterford to share their recollections from all periods of the ONeill Centers history.
