BIRDLAND is proud to present, direct from the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center's Cabaret and Performance Conference under the new artistic leadership of Michjale Bush (Director of Artistic Production for Manhattan Theatre Club), three different and dazzling ladies of the stage - Ruth Williamson, Suzzanne Douglas and Penny Fuller - in their brand new Cabaret Theatre evenings.
These three Unique and entertaining shows were developed and premiered this past summer at the esteemed Eugene O'Neill Theater Center in Waterford, Connecticut, where they were received by cheering and standing room only audiences.
Now, in a series of three special Tuesday nights in November, you can experience the very best of this acclaimed cabaret series at BIRDLAND, New York City's premiere and elegant nightclub for Jazz.
Also featuring Cabaret Conference artists Nancy Lee Bach, Jim Speake and Brent Winborn.
Performances are on November 1, November 15, and November 22
All performances begin at 7:00 p.m.

Stage and screen actress Ruth Williamson (La Cage aux Folles) recreates the music of Kay Thompson (Funny Face and music arranger for MGM's Golden Age) including numbers from her famous Œ50's nightclub act with the Williams Brothers.

An award-winning actress of stage, screen and television, Suzzanne Douglas (How Stella Got Her Groove Back, "Promised Land" ) celebrates the music and the life of jazz great Abbey Lincoln (Sydney Poitier's co-star in For Love of Ivy), and the inspiration she had on shaping Suzzanne's identity as a performer.
