Pam Arciero

Pam Arciero was one of the founding Guest Artists at The O'Neill Puppetry Conference and directed the Emerging Artists program within the Conference for five years before being named artistic director of the Conference in 2002. She succeeds Richard Termine, who will continue his association with the Conference.

Arciero is a principal puppeteer with ÏSesame StreetÓ and performs numerous characters, most notably Grundgetta Grouch. She has worked on numerous childrenÌs programs, including ÏThe Bear in the Big Blue HouseÓ and ÏThe Great Space Coaster.Ó Her stage credits are highlighted by a run with LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS at the Orpheum Theater in New York, in addition to directing ELMOÌS WORLD LIVE and OSCARÌS BIG GAME SHOW at Sesame Place and DISNEYÌS WAHOO WAGON at El Capitan Theater in Los Angeles. Film credits include LITTLE MONSTERS, EXTREME MEASURES and MUPPETS TAKE MANHATTAN. She holds a graduate degree in Puppetry from the University of Connecticut.
